Event: Hopp to the Pub: Haunted Edition

By purchasing a ticket for the "Hopp to the Pub: Haunted Edition" event taking place on Saturday, 31 October 2026, organized by Race Hopper and Hopp to Events, I, the ticket holder, acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk: I understand and acknowledge that participating in the "Hopp to the Pub: Haunted Edition" event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to risks associated with running on public roads, consuming alcohol, and participating in outdoor activities during possible adverse conditions. I voluntarily assume all such risks and accept full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur as a result of my participation.

2. Release of Liability: I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Race Hopper, Hopp to Events, their respective organizers, sponsors, partners, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me during or as a result of my participation in the event.

3. Road Safety: I acknowledge that there will be no road closures during the event, and I am solely responsible for my own safety while running on public roads. I agree to obey all traffic laws and regulations and to exercise caution at all times.

4. Alcohol Consumption: I understand that alcohol consumption is part of the event, and I agree to consume alcohol responsibly. I acknowledge that consuming alcohol may impair my judgment and physical abilities, and I assume all risks associated with alcohol consumption during the event.

5. Age Requirement: I certify that I am 21 years of age or older to participate in the "Hopp to the Pub: Haunted Edition" event.

6. No On-Site Medics: I understand that there will be no medics or medical professionals on-site during the event. In the event of an emergency, I authorize the event organizers to call an ambulance on my behalf. I agree to be responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of any injury or illness sustained during the event.

7. Acknowledgment of Understanding: I have read this Athlete Indemnity Agreement carefully and fully understand its contents. By ticking the agreement box, I acknowledge that I am waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue. I voluntarily agree to these terms and conditions and intend my acceptance to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
